Your new role

You'll be bringing Industry 4.0 to high-tech manufacturing, using our software to control robots, talk to machines and ultimately boost chip production.

As an Software Engineer, you will discuss the concepts, put the pieces together and help our customers on their journey to fully automated production. You will work closely with your colleagues in Germany, USA & Singapore as part of our international teams.

What you'll do

Become a part of our team responsible for customer-specific system and product development (in the Engineering Excellence Center)
Create specifications and align with the customer
Design and develop applications in C++ for distributed systems that are stable and efficient under heavy load
Work closely with the QA team on software testing and error analysis

What you'll need to succeed

Bachelor Degree in Electrical / Electronic / Computer Engineering OR
At least 3 years working experience in (semiconductor) manufacturing environment,
IIoT or Industry 4.0
Focus on quality and functionality, independent, diligent and structured way of working as well as commitment and ability to work in a team
Analytical thinking, creativity and enjoyment of complex processes and tasks
C++ programming language, object-oriented analysis, design and implementation
Common tools and development frameworks (Jenkins, SVN, Git, ...)
Database design and SQL development (MS SQL, Oracle, ...)
Good knowledge of English in both spoken and written
Willingness to travel

Useful industry-specific knowledge:

MES in semiconductor or electronic manufacturing
Message-oriented middleware
JavaScript, TypeScript, and Angular for GUI development
