2019: A review
More growth and change
Many of our clients manufacture internationally and seek for local support to align and fulfill their global and local digital manufacturing roadmaps. In order for us to support them, one of our main strategic objectives is to expand our local services and provide support 24/7 in a “follow-the-sun” approach. In 2019 we opened two new offices: Singapore and Bangalore, India. This enables us to support current and future clients even faster. Amongst other partners, we started working with VM.PL to answer clients' requests faster and more flexibly. We are very satisfied with their contribution so far and are looking forward to a long and strong partnership.
Challenging automation projects and customer successes
With SAP manufacturing solutions, we went live with 7 customers, across 8 locations, spanning 4 countries, including our first SAP Manufacturing cloud-based solution in South Korea. In addition, we introduced our Equipment Integration & Automation platform (EIA) on SAP’s HANA technology stack to integrate SAP manufacturing solutions in high automation environments.
While we celebrated the completion of several successful projects in 2019, one particularly stands out: in close collaboration with our client in a sophisticated, highly automated semiconductor manufacturing environment, we replaced the legacy WorkStream™ with a highly customized MES developed from scratch to meet their unique requirements. We are extremely honored and proud to have taken part in this migration that took place over the course of multiple years, and alongside full capacity production operations. We truly appreciate the trust, loyalty, and outstanding collaboration our client demonstrated toward us throughout this project.
Professional Development & Project Management Improvements
In other news, as we seek to continuously improve upon our project management processes and capabilities to ensure a great customer experience for collaboration, quality, and on-time delivery, we have enlisted the Project Management Institute (PMI) to get our project leaders certified as Project Management Professionals (PMP).
2019 was a rewarding year for us and we strive to make the next year as fulfilling as the last!
